Secrets Of A Sexy New Star - Travis Aaron Wade

With charming blue eyes, a genuine smile and a caring heart, it is hard to associate the L.A. native actor Travis Aaron Wade, 34, with a cold-blooded serial killer on the hit CBS series Criminal Minds. He surely knows how to disappear in the role!

“Most of the characters I’ve ever played before, they were sane”, the ex-U.S. Marine says. “This particular performance I couldn’t relate to at all. It is so far from who I am. I was given about 3 days preparing for the role and I studied everything on serial killers… watched documentaries and read books about criminal psychology, which slowly put me in the mindset. It’s a fun process but it wasn’t easy on my mind.”

Being in the acting business, Travis is very savvy about taking care of his appearance. The more youthful he looks, the more job opportunities that open up for him. He can play roles in his own age group (i.e. a young father in his 30’s), or compete with young actors for 25 or 26-year-old roles.

For body and mind, Travis does Bikram Yoga and works out at the gym. For skincare, he opts for the advanced HydraFacial skin rejuvenation treatment – one of the favorites among many Hollywood celebrities – to keep his face fresh, clean, radiant, and line-free. “[HydraFacial] is nothing like what I’ve had done before”, Travis gushes about the treatment. “It is absolutely the best skin treatment I have ever had in 10 years of L.A. living!” Travis has been reached out by a few companies and has tried different products and treatments. He feels that HydraFacial is unique because it not only feels great, but also offers long-lasting results. “It actually feels like it’s reducing the lines! People compliment me all the time about how young I look.”

On his celebrity crush

“Rachel McAdams”, Travis reveals his crush on the Canadian actress, 31, with an adorable smile. “Not only is she really, really talented, but I’ve seen her a few times up close in person and she’s just as attractive on screen as she is personally.” Well, we heard that she is single again…

On his upcoming projects

Travis is currently being considered for other hit TV series, such as 24, Lost, CSI, and two other new productions. He also actively supports the On Deck Foundation (which helps underprivileged children) and other non-profit organizations to help make the world a better place.
