HydraFacial Featured On The Doctors Show

Did you miss the new episode "The #1 Secret to Living Longer and Looking Younger (The Water Show)" on The Doctors national TV show Wednesday 2/17? Host Dr. Ordon and Launa Stone, RN (Owner of Stone Med Spa, Calabasas, CA) talked about the HydraFacial MD® procedure.

The HydraFacial™ is featured as a new anti-aging procedure that hydrates and infuses vitamins, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid into the skin while it cleanses the pores, extracts blackheads, whiteheads and impurities, and refreshes the skin.

HydraFacial MD® hydradermabrasion is the latest, non-invasive skin resurfacing and rejuvenation technology. This advanced skin treatment, administered by professionals, delivers proven and immediate results without the use of harsh chemicals or lasers.

HydraFacial™ is the only procedure available today that can infuse antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, peptide complex, and nutrient skin-enhancing serums into the skin through pneumatic application. The HydraFacial™ combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection simultaneously, resulting in clearer, healthier skin with no discomfort or downtime. It targets fine lines and wrinkles, congested and enlarged pores, oily or acne-prone skin, hyperpigmentation and brown spots.

The HydraFacial™ is considered one step above Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) for skin rejuvenation (Bruce M. Freedman, M.D. F.A.C.S., Rejuvenation Stairway, 2007). Studies showed that skin antioxidant levels increased by 30% after a HydraFacial™ procedure using its antioxidant hyaluronic acid serum. It augments IPL results and reduces IPL's adverse effects (See Studies Below). Top medical centers like Brigham and Women's Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center, and the Cleveland Clinic use the HydraFacial™ system.

The HydraFacial™ provides immediate results and can be used on all skin types - even sensitive skin and skin of color. People around the world, including Prince Albert of Monaco and A-list Hollywood celebrities use HydraFacial™ to keep their skin healthy and naturally radiant.

Simple Ways to Help Haiti

When tragedy strikes, for a moment the whole world stands still. We take a moment to really consider who and what is most important in our lives. We tend to forget how much we take for granted, and in times of need, we are reminded of how important it is to give something back.

Many celebrities took action and contributed to the relief efforts: George Clooney held the "Hope For Haiti" telethon; The Grammy's broadcast Haiti relief suggestions and stars like Miley Cirus are donating their dresses; and our favorite actor Travis Aaron Wade attended his friends birthday in which all guests had to donate upon arrival.

If you are not a celebrity, it can be difficult to know exactly how to help, but if you look closely, simple, everyday activities offer ways to help. We can donate without all the extravagance through organizations like the Red Cross, Doctors without Borders, Unicef, and Care - for some it is as easy as a text message.

Even local businesses are helping out - Today we are recognizing Reflections MedSpa in Oxford Mississippi and all those who have donated and contributed to the Haiti relief efforts. Last week at Reflections, people were taking care of their skin and learning about how to prevent damage, all while they were contributing to the Haiti Relief Efforts.

Today's Provider: Reflections MedSpa

Last week, Reflections held a Haiti Relief event in which all proceeds went to the Doctors without Borders Fund. Men and women made donations and received free HydraFacial™ intro treatments.

Located in Oxford, Mississippi, Reflections MedSpa addresses all of your skin concerns: from acne to age spots, fine lines or deep wrinkles, Senior Aesthetician Mary Unsell has got you covered.

Her HydraFacial™ treatment is tailored to fit your skin needs and includes the face and neck. A few extra perks of her treatment are the face mask and hand massage, making her HydraFacial™ ultra relaxing!

Now is the perfect time to stop in and see Mary! HydraFacial™ is the service of the month for February, which means you get an extra $10 off - perfect if you needed some extra cash to donate :)

You can also buy 5 HydraFacial™ treatments and get 1 FREE!
