Simple Ways to Help Haiti

When tragedy strikes, for a moment the whole world stands still. We take a moment to really consider who and what is most important in our lives. We tend to forget how much we take for granted, and in times of need, we are reminded of how important it is to give something back.

Ring In The New Year In Style

To go out with a bang - here are a few quick fixes to ensure that you enter 2010 looking and feeling your best.

You wake up seeing red - not in your eyes but on your face. You think you look like spottie dottie or worse. Don't let a few red blemishes ruin your beautiful complexion. Eye drops are known to get the red out - so give that a try.

Your party outfit is perfect. You got all the great deals on after sales, and you are ready to hit the town. And then you spot it - that pesky stuff that keeps you fresh and dry has made it down the side of your shirt. Don't panic!!! That old pair of nylons with the endless runs in them can rub deodorant right out. Out spot out!

Speaking of nylons - they are a great accessory to any outfit, but they sure show how much fun you have in them. Those pesky runs can quickly be stopped if spotted early on with a little drop of super glue - that stuff is called super for a reason. Keep it with you for other things too - it can stop bleeding (for minor cuts only please), great if you break a nail (OUCH!), or if you dance the heel right off your shoe (that way you don't limp home).

If you rush out after working all day, and your hair is lacking that luster, your pressed powder that keeps your face from getting too oily can also work wonders on your hair. The powder will soak up any excess oil and with a little tease, you are ready for the party scene. Or for a fresh scent try baby powder - But Brunettes Beware - if your hair is too dark, this will only make you look gray - YIKES! For a quick root touch up - you might try mascara - it works wonders on your lashes, why not your locks ;)

The eyes have it - or at least yours will! For the perfect party eyes, start by applying a nude concealer to your eyelids to keep them crease free throughout the evening. For longer, curvier lashes, use a blow dryer to heat up your eyelash curler for a curling iron effect - Gorgeous, simply gorgeous! And to keep those brows under control, a little Chapstick will go a long way.

For the perfect pout, put a little Vaseline on your teeth to keep you lips red and your teeth white. And if you have to "powder your nose," skip the powder and use a toilet seat cover instead as an oil blotter - less oil and less makeup = a more natural, beautiful you.
